Background to MAOS

The MoD is introducing a new Defence Standard which defines the requirements for approval of contracting companies to perform Line Maintenance, Depth Maintenance or Continued Airworthiness Management of Service Aircraft.

This Standard has been based upon EASA Part 145, Part 66, Part 147 and Part M requirements, but adapted to the requirements of the Military Air Environment.
